When Obedience Gets Ahead of God’s Instructions

Speaker: Rev. Ferrell Towns Date: Sunday, April 26, 2026

In John 21:1–14, the disciples return to what they know—fishing all night—yet come up empty until Jesus speaks from the shore. Their effort wasn’t the issue; it was acting without His direction. This message reminds us that sincere obedience can still miss the mark when it runs ahead of God’s voice—fruit comes when we listen, trust, and do what He says, in His timing.
