How to Keep Your Balance

“How to Keep Your Balance” looks at Martha and Mary (Luke 10:38–42; John 11) and reminds us that spiritual stability starts with priority. Martha shows us how easy it is to be busy for Jesus while missing time with Jesus, but Mary models the “one thing necessary”—sitting at His feet and trusting His word. In John 11, both sisters bring their grief to Christ and discover that when Jesus is central, we can serve, sorrow, and still stand steady in faith.
